Getting Back Online

I forgot that I set up this blog about a year ago to keep my family and friends up to date on the happenings of the Vieceli's. I mean - you can facebook with Jim and see his status updates or just call me for the latest story on the kids ... but hopefully this will be my daily diary for events.

Today Claire had her 18 month check up. I can't believe my littlest baby is 18 months old. She is a talking factory. Favorite words are - anything you say (she repeats) and "pone". She is fanatical about phones and finding them, holding them, identifying rings or beeps. Apparently I use one a lot because that is what she wants to do all day long. She is in the 90% percentile for height. Her favorite activities right now: eating magic markers, drawing on hands, cupboards, tummy and any other inappropriate surface ... and pulling all clothing out of Liam's drawers. And terrorizing her siblings attempt at artwork.
Liam spends his time arranging and re-arranging scenes in his Playmobil boats and ships and asking anyone to draw him pictures of jetski's, waterskiiers, pirate ships or sailboats. He is very nautically determined to incorporate boating into every aspect of his life. Including biting his apples and sandwiches into boats and racing them around the table.
Here is the most recent picture of Sofia ... her first day of school. Now here we are, 5 weeks into school ... three red marks and one black eye later. She loves school - that love only surpassed perhaps by her recent discovery of a love for her classmate, Charlie. She is very active.
Enough for my first blog - perhaps this will go nowhere, perhaps my sisters will read it. We'll see! Signing off for now ... Katie
